This is a wonderful program for hopeful, future farmers! it is a good feeling to know that you live in a community that cares about its' roots, and wants the small family farm to live on! I have high hopes that this program will breath new life and hope into the young farmers (of all different backgrounds), wondering how they will ever begin..
*This particular property was originally a segregated school, George Washington Carver Regional High School, the only opportunity for children of African American descent to receive a secondary education. Another great feat, of combined efforts..from four different counties.*
