Liza Levy Payne

An Associate Broker, and Virginia native, Liza specializes in helping clients buy and sell properties throughout Culpeper, Orange, Madison and Rappahannock counties. Frank Hardy Sotheby's International has office locations in Charlottesville and Orange; allowing us to service all of Central Virginia.

Having been raised on her family's farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains her fondest memories have all taken place in the rolling Virginia countryside. She is now settling into wonderful, country property of her own, also under scenic easement, where she lives with her husband, two children, two dogs and assorted farm critters.   Her grandparents were among the first in a movement to preserve Virginia’s countryside,  placing their farm in The Plains, under a perpetual conservation easement, setting an example of cherishing the land.  Liza’s father continued to instill that passion in her - being recognized for clean water efforts, on his farm bordering The Hazel River in Culpeper.

Liza attended The Hill School in Middleburg (prek-8) then moved to Notre Dame Academy in Upperville graduating in 2001, and then on to Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond where she completed her Real Estate education, but majored in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. She has been an actively licensed, full time Realtor, since returning home to Culpeper in 2004; always helping her clients with an open-mind and proactive approach.
